This little one has been a learning experience.
Trying to study for an exam, so naturally I’m rooting through for Lightroom for things to edit.
Here is a shot of Alcatraz and the yard that I shot there last spring.
On the night mentioned in the previous post, I also took my first crack at star trails. I’ve always thought they were neat, but being the city boy that I am, I’m not afforded too many opportunities to try and shoot them.
I’m quite pleased with how this turned out. I have some of the Milky Way on the right, and what I’m pretty sure are some satellites running from the bottom right and up through the photo. I wish they weren’t there, but… meh. It’s still cool.

This one from Luckett Vineyards
Luckett has a (functional) phone box in the middle of the vineyard. Their Phone Box Red is named after it, and it comes from the end of the street that Pete grew up on. You can call toll-free anywhere in North America from this phone.

It’s not often I’m this sad about the result of a baseball game. But then, it’s not often your team comes into a season with colossal expectations, falls unbelievably flat, picks themself up with a franchise-record-tying winning streak, and then finds new and creative ways to dig that hole once…
Pretty well sums up where I’m at
Went for a drive today down the south shore, and walked around Lunenburg. Also walked around an abandoned spa/hotel thing which I want to go back to.
